Trying out my new Nikon 24-70mm f/2.8 lens

Published on in Photography.

Photography is one of my hobbies. Right now I own a Nikon D60 camera with a bunch of lenses, including a 18-200mm f/3.5-5.6 all-round lens which is mounted on the camera most of the time. While I’m quite happy with the quality and possibilities of the combination, it wasn’t entirely what I was searching for. This is mostly caused by the Nikon D300 camera my dad owns: it focuses much more intuitively, responds quicker than my D60 does and doesn’t fill pictures with noise when I use any ISO higher than 400. This is why I decided to upgrade to a D300s body, together with a new sharp and fast lens, the AF-S Nikkor 24-70mm f/2.8G ED.

The latter designs usually didn’t last as long as the pre-created ones, considering I’m a horrible webdesigner. A few versions featured layouts created by friends, to finally get to the current layout created entirely by myself. Be honest: it looks great!
