My name is Peter Beverloo, a 23 year old Dutch developer currently living in London, United Kingdom. My main interests are (web) development, browsers (specifically Google Chrome and the WebKit Rendering Engine) and web standards. After learning the first bits of HTML, CSS and JavaScript in 1996, the year in which I created my first site, I progressively taught myself various programming languages. Starting off with PHP 2/FI in 1997, all the way until C/C++ and basic x86 Assembly code these days.

I’m used to be Technical Director of videobankonline, a Dutch company which specializes in distributing video material from companies to media parties and broadcasters. More recently I’ve joined Google as a Software Engineer on the Google Chrome team!

A non-technical hobby of mine is photography. I’m currently equipped with a Nikon D700 camera and several lenses, which I like to use in my spare time. It is, however, purely a hobby, and I have no intention to do any professional photography 🙂

Feel free to contact me if you have any questions and inquiries.
